Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple days. I have been dealing with a bad bout of vertigo. You don't want to experience this. Trust me.
A couple weeks ago, my wife's Microsoft Outlook crashed on her PC. I tried everything to get it working - spyware removal, virus removal, repair tool, uninstall, reinstall. Nothing worked. I do confess I had an ancient version - Office 2002.
So then I think, hmm...I'll just upgrade! And spend more money! Woohoo! :(
I pondered that for a week, and then the obvious hit me. I had been using Open Office - basically a free suite of tools almost identical to Microsoft office - for months now. Emphasis on FREE. So why was I so blind? Why don't I see what's out there with regard to e-mail clients? I read a great review on About.com about the top 10 e-mail clients, and a few other website reviews. Turns out that Mozilla Thunderbird is a fantastic and FREE alternative to Microsoft Outlook. Mozilla also has this cool suite of Internet tools also.
Anyway, I made the switch today and migrated over to Thunderbird. My wife is ecstatic. She loves it. And we both love the price.
Life is good. Have a great week!
